Naughty Brownies

A new year brings  new resolutions and this year I’ve made 2!

My first resolution was to be healthy and eat healthier. But before I put that plan into action, I thought I’d have my last day to indulge.

It had to be worth it! I couldn’t just stuff my face with any desert. So I decided to combine 3 of my favorites thanks to Rose at the thelondoner.me

These brownies take up to 45 mins to make. All you’ll need are the following ingredients:

1 Box Brownie Mix

1 Box Cookie Mix

3 Eggs

1 pack Oreos

Preheat your oven to 175°C and line your baking tray with grease proof baking paper.

Now follow the instruction on the back of the Cookie mix box.

Once the dough is ready, line your baking tray with the mix covering all the bottom

Cover the cookie layer with Oreos.

Now mix your brownie batter following the instructions on the back of the box. Once done, pour over the Oreo layer.

pop into the oven and bake for 40 mins

When done, remove and let it cool. Use a sharp knife to cut into your prefered sizes.

You should serve them warm, with some ice cream or a cup of milk (whatever does it for you).

Now sit back and Enjoy!!

Oh, I forgot to mention what my 2nd resolution for the year was.

To finish everything that I’ve started ;)

  2. Wow – no kidding so many people have clicked like on this post – this looks amazing!!! Of course – so close to New Years – it may have to be put on hold – but man, when I earn those brownies – they are going to be good!!!! Time to plan a marathon ski or something – those will be so amazing by the fire!

  3. This is definitely for those of us who cannot make up our minds as to whether we want a brownie or a cookie or … hey, what the heck. Let’s just have both! Wonderful recipe! Thank you for sharing.

*Figuring out the calorie content now*

  4. Your title made me want to read your recipe for the ULTIMATE “naughty” brownies, but I was disappointed that you didn’t go there! I was at a Christmas party last month and they had them, just like I sampled while in college forty years ago, “Adult Brownies”! i.e. with marijuana as the active ingredient! Now THAT is the best way to catch a “lift”! (:

  5. :) OMG! I almost felt like I was drowning in melted, chocolatey goodness when the chocolate was being poured on the Oreo’s. Another funny thing is that the picture of the pan in the oven looks like a big Reese’s peanut butter cup. I feel so sugar crazed right now.

  6. This must be the best thing ever.

    Best. Thing. Ever.

Love it! Can’t wait until my New Year’s Resolution to eat healthier wears off in a couple of weeks so that I can indulge in this…

Congrats on being Freshly Pressed! ;)

  7. That looks out of this world. Why start from scratch when the cookie/brownie mixes are so accessible?! Can’t wait to try these. Man, the combinations you could do with these are pretty much endless. I love that you used a round dish!

  8. You are an evil genius ! I am going to make these and then hide them. No where does your recipe say “If you do not share, your eyes will fall out of your head”. (And I think I’d be willing to risk it.)

    • I am thinking this will be a great cake for myhusbands 55th birthday (in April if I can wait that long). Well, since it is a new recipe I will have to test drive it…hmmmm :) Great pictures, presentation and instruction. Enjoy FP and success at being your best this New Year!

  9. Oh, curse you and your deliciously graffic pictures of that most wonderfully smelling, tasting, appearing dessert that I’ve ever been exposed to in my life! Yes, I can smell and taste it vicariously through the keyboard. I can imagine how each layer tastes separately and together simultaneously, and it is devilish. Yum!

  10. I had to come back to this post and stare at the pictures again. And then share with a friend. And then come back and think about how good this will taste.
    Congrats on Freshly Pressed!

  11. This looks amazing. Cannot wait to make and and bring it to work where the professional brownie eaters/reviewers are! Looks so great.

  12. How totally evil! I’ve been so good on my diet for the last two weeks, now I feel like I’ve sinned by 2000 calories just looking at your post! I’m going to have to go wash my eyes out with soap! I am totally lusing after your brownies.

  14. Oh. My. God. Your recipe is a single girls dream come true! Though this has some commonality with men, they both go straight to your hips, this looks way more satisfying. And unlike men, they’ll still be there in the morning, last as long as you, and you can take them anywhere without the bothersome worry that they’ll embarrass you. I’m in love.

  15. that must be a chocolate daydream! an huge brownie pie full of best of what makes women happy!!..hiding oreos in the middle, yummy

  17. O_O If I weren’t recovering from an eating disorder, I’d be all over these! XD Seriously though, they look good, perhaps I’ll save the recipe for a later time. ~_~

  18. Dear God thank you for showing me this little slice of heaven. Seriously, that looks dangerously delish. I just might have to give this one a try.

  19. Now I have to stop at the grocery store on the way home from work…damn the naughty brownies! (and my own suggestible nature :) )

  20. OH.MY.GOSH! I must try these…I like the way you think: combine things you love & when they’re done baking (or what not) FINISH THEM! Great post, thanks so much for sharing and congrats on being Freshly Pressed! ~Marianne
